Multi Métal G. Boutin is a company specializing in the manufacturing of light and custom metal structures for the construction industry. Located in Quebec City, it was founded in 1991 and delivers in Quebec, Ontario, Western Canada and the entire Northeastern United States.

We have been in business since 1991, providing outstanding service to our commercial, institutional and industrial customers. We have 80 dedicated employees to offer you services, ranging from design, custom fabrication, painting, installation to delivery. A hassle-free turnkey project certified by Multi Métal.

Our History

1991

Founding of Multi Métal G. Boutin by Gérard Boutin. The company begins in the family’s 24 by 40-foot garage.

1995

Gérard Boutin is now operating in a 3,500 sq. ft. facility with 5 employees, including his sons, Stéphane and Michel.

2001

Stéphane and Michel take control of the company.

2003

Paul Lemay becomes a shareholder and develops the American market.

2003

Multi Métal G. Boutin builds its first factory, located on rue Principale, with a surface area of 7,500 sq. ft. The company begins to develop the American market in order to increase its order book and thus increase its expertise.

2006

Lease of a 7,500 sq. ft. facility to support expansion and the hiring of several employees. This brings the production area to 15,000 sq. ft. and 25 employees.

2010

Construction of a brand new 22,000 sq. ft. factory bringing all employees together in one location.

2017

Dany Bourassa becomes shareholder in the company.

2020

Paul Lemay retires after 16 years in the company.

2021

Patrick Lefebvre joins the team of Multi Métal G. Boutin shareholders.

2022

Currently, more than 80 employees are part of the Multi Métal G. Boutin team, working on 2 shifts.
